Lawn Maintenance and Recurring Care Plans

A lawn that looks the same every week, on a schedule you set, without chasing a crew.

What is included in recurring lawn care in Franklin, TN?

Recurring lawn care from Magnolia's Landscapers is a scheduled weekly or biweekly visit that covers mowing, edging, and string trimming, with the same visit cadence and scope agreed with the homeowner up front. Omar Ortiz has run this plan for Franklin-area lawns for 4 years. No fertilizer, herbicide, or pesticide application is included.

The recurring care plan, and what it does not include

A lawn that looks the same every visit takes a plan with a set cadence. Magnolia's agrees the visit frequency with the homeowner before the first mow: weekly or biweekly, based on the property's growth rate and the season.

Every visit runs the same checklist:

  • Mowing at a consistent height
  • Edging along beds and walkways
  • String trimming around trees, fences, and obstacles the mower cannot reach

Omar scopes the plan himself and stays the point of contact if anything needs to change mid-season.

Omar holds the cadence through the growing season and eases it as growth slows over a Middle Tennessee winter. A property that has gone ragged from a missed season is brought back under the plan with an initial catch-up visit, scoped honestly before the regular cadence starts.

What this plan does not include.

Recurring lawn care at Magnolia's is mowing, edging, and string trimming only.

  • Fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide programs: not part of this plan and not offered at all. Chemical lawn applications require a Tennessee applicator charter license, which Magnolia's does not hold. A homeowner who needs a weed or fertilizer program should use a licensed applicator for that piece and Magnolia's for the mowing cadence around it.
  • Shrub and ornamental trimming: included at small scale. Large tree removal is not offered (see how seasonal cleanup handles storm and leaf debris for the property's other recurring need).
  • Bed edging: part of the mowing visit. Full bed prep, planting, and mulch depth are their own job (see how bed prep and mulch depth are handled).

How do I know the crew will show up the same way every time?

The cadence is agreed with Omar before the first visit, and the same per-visit checklist runs every time: mowing, edging, and string trimming, on the schedule set up front.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between weekly and biweekly lawn care?
Weekly visits keep growth short and even through the peak season; biweekly spaces visits further apart and suits slower-growing lawns or a lower-maintenance preference. Omar sets the right cadence per property at the walkthrough.
Do you apply fertilizer or weed control as part of a mowing plan?
No. Chemical applications, fertilizer, herbicide, or pesticide, require a Tennessee applicator charter license that Magnolia's does not hold, so they are not bundled into any recurring plan. Magnolia's focuses the plan on mowing, edging, and string trimming, and a licensed applicator handles chemical treatment.
Can I start a recurring plan mid-season if my lawn has gone unmowed for a while?
Yes. Omar scopes an initial catch-up visit honestly as its own step, then starts the regular cadence from a clean baseline rather than folding the catch-up into a single normal-priced mow.
How long has Magnolia's been running recurring lawn care in Franklin?
4 years. Omar Ortiz has owner-operated Magnolia's Landscapers and scoped every recurring plan himself since 2022.
Is lawn care available in Spanish?
Sí. Omar habla español como lengua materna, y la cotización, el plan de mantenimiento y cada visita se pueden coordinar por completo en español.
